Over the last couple of years, the team at Arcadia have been working hard to be more environmentally responsible in both our business practices and in the promotional products we promote.
As part of this journey, Arcadia have been working with EcoVadis, who audit elements of your companies practices including labour and human rights, sustainable procurement and the environment. This year Arcadia were awarded the Platinum medal, placing them in the top 1% of companies globally for sustainable business practices.
This proud achievement reflects our continuing dedication to environmental responsibility, social impact, and corporate transparency. It’s also a testament to the excellent efforts of the Arcadia team to work with us in our commitment to making a positive difference.

Arcadia Merchandise Ltd recently embarked on a new journey in our bid to be a more sustainable business. One challenge for which we wanted to find a solution, was how to ensure items of merchandise that were not needed ended up finding use and not landfill. With the help of the wonderful non-for-profit charity A Good Thing, Arcadia have now been able to solve this problem. Working towards a more sustainable future Arcadia have partnered with “A Good Thing” a company dedicated to help business link with local charities to donate any unwanted items that may be headed for landfill.
A recent study has reported that approximately 1.2 million desks and 1.6 million office chairs end up in landfill each year. The study couldn’t count the amount of IT equipment, surplus products and other items that also go to landfill.
A simple-to-use app makes donating easy, you list what you have, where you are, what timeframe you’re working to and whether you have any preferences as to the charities you’d like to support. They then do the matchmaking.
Its idea for a wide range of items such as unwanted stock, product samples, IT equipment and unwanted office furniture.
By using the app Arcadia have been able link and support local charities including
